Shipping & Returns
At Paragon Fabrics, we pride ourselves in giving customers the best prices for fabrics and haberdashery. In order to keep our prices low, we are currently unable to offer free delivery. If you are local or close to our physical shop, we are offering Click & Collect to save customers postage costs if they’d prefer (see our address and opening hours below). We aim for all Click & Collect orders to be ready within 1 working day. If you choose to Click & Collect, please bring photographic ID with you (Driver’s License, Passport etc) and proof of purchase.
Postage costs are calculated by price of order. Up to £50 is only £3.99 and over £50 is £6.99. We have done this so you are able to get more fabric, without worrying about the price of postage rising. All our parcels are posted via Royal Mail 1st Class Postage. If you wish to upgrade your postage, please get in contact with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate. If would like to order a large quantity of fabric or items, please feel free to contact us for a postage quote.
We aim to process all postal orders within 2 working days. You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched.
Currently we are accepting orders within the UK and Ireland. If you are interested in ordering internationally, please get in contact with us (details below). Postage to Ireland varies from £5.99-11.99, and we offer either Standard or Tracked Shipping options.
Payment can be made via Debit/Credit Card or PayPal.
Return & Exchange Policy
Our returns policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
We do not accept returns on cut pieces, bespoke fabrics or remnants as we cut each fabric specifically to length for every customer’s order. We can accept returns/exchanges on non-cut fabrics, or other items as long as they are in the same condition as when you received them.
We cannot accept fabric returns on the basis of:
Not liking fabric/print
Colour being incorrect
Fabric being unused since purchase
Deemed unsuitable for project
We can only accept returns on cut fabric pieces if there is a fault (for example, a hole). We advise customers check fabrics after receiving them, as once the 30 days have passed, we will not accept returns regardless if there is a fault. If you have washed or cut fabrics after receiving but find a fault after doing so, we also cannot accept a return as the fabrics aren’t in original condition. If you find a fault, please get in contact with us via email, messenger or phone and we will do our best to resolve the problem. We will require a proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the fault.
Please be aware sometimes minor flaws can appear during the production process of fabrics (for example, a wrong-coloured thread being spun into the weave). These are out of our control, and do not count as a fault, but please feel free to contact us with any queries.
Customers are expected to cover the cost of postage for returns. If doing so, you should consider using a trackable delivery service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive the returning items.
Refunds will be processed after we receive the returned item(s) and inspect them for faults. We will then email you to confirm we received the item(s) and notify you of your approval or rejection for a refund. If approved, then your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7 days.
If you haven’t received your refund within this time, please check with your bank/building society first, and get in contact with them, as sometimes it can take them a while to process a refund.
